Selena Gomez Set To Release Fourth Single - BSCkids

Selena Gomez’s break from music did not wind up to work, she is already working a new album and now is reportedly set to film a new music video. Now before you get all excited, it will be for her 4th single off When The Sun Goes Down<</a>/em>. While no official song has been named, it is rumored to be “My Dilemma”. No date has been given for when the video shoot will happen, but we can assume that it will be soon before Selena does her next UN mission. Recently she also dropped the second music video for “Hit the Lights”, which was her latest single thus far. As of press time, no official word has been given on her next single yet.

I have to say that I am shocked that they are planning to release a 4th single off that album. I just assumed that Selena was going to go on a break and not touch music anytime soon. Yet it sounds like her plans changed and we now will have a whole new single to rock out to. I wonder if that means we can expect any concerts from her soon enough? After all, she will have to promote it and they have plenty of shows on during the summer time that need live performances. So it would be in good timing since she won’t have to do a tour to support it. It will work out well for her so she can return to moveis and the studio, while keeping her name out in the music industry as well.

Are you excited about this rumor? What song do you hope that she releases? I am not sure of one, myself. I think she went very dance and pop like with it, which I am not sure if that was the best route. While it did do wonders for her career, I think she was better off with the sound of her past 2 albums. However, I will admit that I did love “Who Says”. I think that was her strongest song yet and it holds a lot of meaning. So if Selena Gomez could release a song with great amount of meaning like “Who Says”, I will be a happy camper. I think she can use her music for the greater good right now. That could really help build her up as a serious singer and one who is not afraid of singing meaningful songs.

Justin Bieber Suffers Concussion Thanks to Glass Wall: Selena Gomez Must be ... - Gather Celebs News Channel

Justin Bieber almost made Norway declare a state of emergency because of crazy Beliebers, but he experienced an emergency of his own in Paris - a concussion.

Poor Selena Gomez has to be distraught that she can't be by her boyfriend's side after his accident, although she might have had a good giggle about how Justin hurt himself. According to the singer, he was performing in the tallest building in Paris (which is made out of a lot of glass, of course). There was a railing behind a wall of glass that Justin went to reach for, but he didn't realize that the glass was there and nailed his head on it.

The Biebs said that he felt a little light-headed afterward but that he went ahead and performed his next song. However, when he tried walking down a flight of stairs later, he passed out and was totally unresponsive for 15 seconds. When he came to a doctor informed him that he had suffered a concussion.

So Justin Bieber once again proved just how much he loves his fans by refusing to quit performing even though he injured himself. Via phone the singer told TMZ that he feels good now and even joked, "I guess me and glass windows just really don't go together." Poor Justin has also nailed his noggin on a glass revolving door in the past, so apparently his old nemesis tried to take him down again after failing the first time. Most singers have to worry about drugs and alcohol doing them in, but the greatest threat to Justin's life might be any glass sliding doors in house. And he has a good reason to be worried about them -- a glass door did actually kill ABBA's former drummer.

Luckily Justin Bieber survived this round, and he even felt good enough to talk to TMZ about which girls are hotter: Parisians or Scandinavians. The knock on the head must have affected his thinking, because he didn't answer by saying that Selena Gomez is the only girl he cares to gaze upon. Justin seemed to be leaning towards Scandinavians, but his manager Scooter Braun decided that it was time to cut the Biebs' phone conversation short (he didn't want the singer to cause an international incident, after all).

So maybe Justin needs to hire an extra security guard to walk in front of him at all times to ensure that he doesn't get glassed again, or maybe Selena Gomez should hire one for him since she can't always be around to keep her boyfriend from busting his head on invisible obstacles.

Celebrity Slam - May 30, 2012 - Maine Edge

Badass Bieber

There’s something irritatingly wholesome about Justin Bieber. Even when he tries to be tough by association â€" hanging out with boxers like Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson for example â€" it never quite rings true. He’s all goofy grin and haircut â€" heck, that innocence is one of the main reasons he’s achieved so much success. Turns out Bieber might be a harder case than we gave him credit for.

A California photographer is alleging that the Biebs beat him up.

According to the report, Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez were leaving a Calabasas mall on Sunday when the altercation took place. According to the paparazzo, he was simply trying to take a picture of Bieber and Gomez as they were leaving. Bieber took umbrage and there was apparently a scuffle before the tween idols drove off. The photog claimed injury; an ambulance was called and he was taken to the hospital, examined and released.

According to witnesses, however, it was a different story. In that version, the photographer was standing in front of Bieber’s car and blocking him from leaving. Bieber got out to discuss the matter, the photographer wouldn’t move and then the scuffle happened. Witnesses also allege that the photographer was receiving onsite litigation tips from a lawyer in the crowd.

Shady business all around.

It’s too early to say just what’s what here â€" although it has been referred to the LA County DA. If Bieber went all aggro on a photographer for no reason, that’s bad news. Seems out of character, but who knows what sort of pressures the Biebs is dealing with? And even if the guy was being a d-bag, Bieber should have known better. So either way, low marks for Justin.

But what about this photographer? What kind of man feels comfortable about announcing to the world that he got his ass handed to him by Justin Freaking Bieber? This isn’t to excuse ill behavior on the part of the famous or anything, but holy crap. It’d be like getting punched out by Richard Simmons or Dakota Fanning â€" why would you ever tell anyone?

Here’s hoping it’s all bullcrap and the guy not only doesn’t get paid, but must forever suffer the stigma of having been curb-stomped by the cover of “Tiger Beat.”

Neither shaken nor stirred

Be forewarned: this is not a slam of a particular celebrity. This is a commentary on a decision made that has significant bearing on the future of a beloved film franchise. Change is not inherently a bad thing, but some things should remain unchanged.

Quick: when someone asks you what James Bond drinks, what do you say? You say “Vodka martini,” perhaps adding “shaken, not stirred.” And up until know, you would have been right. However, starting with “Skyfall,” the latest Bond offering coming later this year, that will no longer be the case.

You read that right: James Bond will no longer be drinking martinis.

The money men behind this latest installment in the Bond franchise have come to an agreement with the makers of Heinekin. The beer maker has coughed up $45 million; in exchange, the most iconic alcoholic beverage in cinematic history has been dumped for a low-rent beer that tends to taste like feet smell. Thus far, only one former Bond has voiced his displeasure with the development, but don’t be surprised to see others join George Lazenby in his outrage.

This is not okay.

It’s just one more example of the power of the almighty dollar. Yes, yes â€" these guys are in the business of making money and $45 million is far from chump change. However, is it really worth sacrificing movie history just to pull a few extra bucks? Deep down, we all know that money is first and foremost in the minds of Hollywood. It’s just sad to see such a blatant example. But if we’ve learned anything in the past two decades, money talks and historical significance walks.

How the mighty have fallen. From “Shaken, not stirred” to “Make mine a Heiney.” The Bond franchise hasn’t screwed up this badly since they cast Roger Moore.

Selena Gomez Talks 'Spring Breakers' - MyFox Los Angeles

(EndPlay Staff Reports) - Selena Gomez showed her wild side in a new photo spread for Interview magazine.

The former "Wizards of Waverly Place" star donned a brightly colored bikini along with her co-stars from her new movie "Spring Breakers" â€" one of them being fellow Disney darling Vanessa Hudgens.

"Spring Breakers" marks a new kind of role for Gomez, but the 19-year-old actress was ready to take on a role that showed she was serious about acting, she said in Interview magazine's June issue .

"I was getting kind of repetitive in terms of the roles I was picking, and I really wanted to do something that was completely different. It was a mark thing for me â€" like, 'This is what I want to be doing.' I want to be taking myself seriously as an actress, and this was definitely a stretch," Gomez explained.

So much of a stretch, that the clean-cut Gomez, who is dating Justin Bieber, had to have someone teach her how to hold and smoke a cigarette.

"I mean, I'd never smoked a cigarette before in my entire life. It was really funny â€" they had to show me how to do it," Gomez admitted.

The movie, directed by "Kids" director, Harmony Korine, is about a group of girls who rob a bank in order to fund their spring break trip. They end up in jail and are bailed out by a drug dealer, played by James Franco.

There has been plenty of talk about the film. During the filming this past March, photos from the movie set showed up online â€" free publicity that Korine appreciated.

"I liked the idea of the film as a social experiment. It was like there were two movies â€" the actual movie, and then the one that the media, paparazzi, and the people tweeting photos were also creating," Korine said.

"Spring Breakers" previewed a three minute clip at Cannes, but will not be coming out until next year, the Daily Mail reported.

Justin Bieber Pap Accuser Lied About Injuries? - PerezHilton.com

Bieber Selena Pap Assault

Liar, liar, pap on fire???

As we reported this past weekend, Justin Bieber got into a scuffle with a paparazzo while out shopping with his GF, Selena Gomez. After the fight supposedly turned physical, the Biebs and Selena fled the scene and the pap raced to the emergency room!

Now, almost a week later, it’s sounding like the photographer is full of SHIZ!

While an investigation is still underway, a law enforcement official revealed:

"The photographer had no visible injuries and he didn't require any further medical attention when he went to the emergency room. The injuries that the photographer claims to have are rather unremarkable.”

Wow, how ridiculous! Sounds like this pap was just trying to get a little extra cash off Justin!

Bieber is currently taking Europe by storm with a promo tour, but detectives will most likely be reaching out to him AND Selena for interviews about the incident.

Right now, the only side of the story they have is that of the “victim.”

Hopefully, this will all be settled soon…

Selena Gomez Goes Braless On Twitter (Photo) - Celebrity Dirty Laundry

Selena Gomez Goes Braless On Twitter (Photo)

Selena Gomez recently sported a braless look on Twitter that has already gotten many reactions from fans, some of who have already deemed the starlet’s new fashion statement to be a little too daring.

The fearless singer, who happens to be Justin Bieber’s girlfriend, is back in the limelight with this very personal photo she recently posted on her Twitter account.

In the photo, Selena poses with her shirt â€" aiming to push for the support of the global foundation and organization UNICEF. However, she must have been trying to put it up as soon as possible because she clearly forgot to throw a bra on!

Well, she’s still making waves for her cause even with this controversial picture! Selena Gomez really has a good heart and her concern in promoting her advocacy groups is something that is hard to ignore. With her show of support with only her t-shirt on, she has helped the Sahel region of Africa which is currently suffering from a food and nutrition crisis affecting people of all ages, especially the children.

This is really a sweet showing from a big star like her. Hopefully, more celebrities will follow her lead in helping those who are struggling in Africa. But next time Selena, how about we put on a bra? It takes only a minute or two, and most people don’t find posting a braless photo on Twitter to be all that classy.

So, what do you think about her braless look? Share your sentiments! Feel free to comment! To see Selena in all her uncensored, braless glory, you find the original pic on her Twitter account.

Selena Gomez to be questioned over Justin Bieber's alleged assault on ... - Fox News

Justin Bieber's girlfriend Selena Gomez will be questioned over his alleged assault of a paparazzo, according to reports.

Bieber is wanted for questioning by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's investigators after a photographer claimed the pop star attacked him at a local shopping center.

"We want to interview everybody and anybody connected with this investigation," Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told the New York Daily News.

Sheriff's Lt. Robert Wiard says the photographer called 911 on Sunday and complained of pain to his chest. Wiard said the scuffle happened when the photographer tried to snap pictures of Bieber and Gomez, after they walked out of a theater at The Commons at Calabasas.

Wiard says the photographer was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released.

He says Bieber and Gomez left before deputies arrived, so investigators want to talk to him to get his side of the story.

The teen heartthrob thanked his fans, dubbed "Beliebers," for their support, tweeting that "we came up from the bottom TOGETHER. every step we were doubted. I doubted...but you were always there ... we work hard. we grind it out. nothing is stopping us."

Last year, Bieber was accused of fathering a fan's child, but was exonerated when the woman withdrew her paternity suit. Bieber took a paternity test anyway.

“I didn’t have to do it, I did it because I wanted to,” he said. “I wanted everything to be out in the open.”

Bieber's new single, "Die in Your Arms," off his upcoming album "Believe," hit iTunes Monday at midnight.

(CNN) -- "Justin Bieber accused of roughing up photographer." When I read this headline, my initial reaction was: Who would admit to being beaten up by Justin Bieber?

I think most of us would take that secret with us to our grave.

For those unfamiliar with Bieber -- if that's even possible -- he's an 18-year-old international pop sensation who stands at an imposing 5 feet 7 inches and probably weighs about 135 pounds. But on Sunday, Bieber was accused of channeling his inner Alec Baldwin, lashing out at a member of the paparazzi who was trying to snap some photos of him and his famous girlfriend, Selena Gomez, as the two exited a movie theater.

To me, however, the real issue is not this incident. I predict this matter will be quickly resolved, possibly with a transfer of funds to the photographer's bank account.

Dean Obeidallah

The issue that truly needs to addressed is this the paparazzi's daily pursuit of celebrities as if they were contestants in "The Hunger Games." They stake out hotels, restaurants, schools, homes, trying to snap a photo of a celebrity or their families. The obvious reason is that the photographers sell these photos, and often for big bucks.

Did Bieber brawl with photographer?
Bieber accused of engaging in fight

But why should these photographers be allowed to profit off the images of celebrities without the celebrities' consent? If a corporation wants to use an image of celebrities in an advertising campaign, they must first obtain their approval and typically pay them a fee.

This is because our copyright laws provide that if you take a photo, you own the copyright to that picture. Consequently, members of the paparazzi who snap a photo, even over the objections of the person, are awarded the full bundle of rights afforded by the federal copyright laws, including the right to sell the photo for a profit.

This is simply wrong. Our nation's copyright laws were enacted to protect original works. One of the goals of the law is to foster creativity, so people will invest the skill and effort needed to create works to which they will own exclusive rights, such as books, paintings, music and movies.

No one can argue that people who snap a photo of George Clooney as he exits a Pinkberry eating strawberry frozen yogurt or, worse, hang around outside grammar schools taking photos of someone's children deserve the same legal protection as those who create a movie, music or other work of art.

Our laws should be revised so that the copyright owner would no longer be the photographer who took the photo. Instead, the owner should be the person whose appearance in the photo makes it valuable: the celebrity.

Let's be honest, media outlets aren't buying these photos from the paparazzi because of the photographer's great talent for lighting. It's because the photo contains an image of a celebrity. Why shouldn't the person giving the image its value own the rights to it?

Indeed, our legal system has long recognized that we all have a "right of publicity," which means that we each have the right to control the use of our name, image and likeness. And obviously, this is a bigger issue for well-known people because their images yield a monetary value. To me, the unauthorized taking of person's photo and selling it for profit is akin to stealing a valuable asset from that person.

This statutory revision would remove the financial incentive for the paparazzi to stalk celebrities, because the photos could not be sold or distributed to any third party without the celebrities' consent, with exceptions for occasions that are newsworthy, such as a court appearance or arrest. But walking down the street, going to the gym or taking your children to school should be off-limits.

The definition of "celebrity" and what constitutes a legitimate photograph would be defined by statute and the court decisions interpreting the law. Although this would create a different legal standard for celebrities versus private citizens, our legal system makes a similar distinction in defamation cases, holding public figures to a higher standard of proof than the average person.

I know some people have zero sympathy for stars. True, they have chosen this life, and there are certain consequences that accompany fame. And some have achieved fame with the least talent possible: I'm looking at you, cast of "The Jersey Shore."

But why should a talented singer, musician or actor be sentenced to a life with no privacy simply because of their success? Shouldn't we all have the right to a quiet meal with our family or the chance to walk our children to school without having cameras jammed into our kids' faces?

This doesn't put the paparazzi out of business. There will still be plenty of work taking photos of famous people who consent. Celebrities still need to be in the media and so do their projects.

It will mean only that in normal day-to-day situations, celebrities will be able to retain a shred of privacy and no longer have to worry about paparazzi chasing them as they go food shopping or trying to enjoy "date night," as in the case of the "mighty" Justin Bieber.

No. The day after Justin got into an alleged tussle with a paparazzo, the "Boyfriend" singer jetted off to Norway to put on a free concert for thousands of shrieking Viking women.

His 19-year-old gal-pal, meanwhile, comforted herself in her loneliness by piling on at least two necklacesâ€"one of which may or may not have been stolen from the set of Mad Menâ€"three rings, giant hoop earrings and a mega-cuff bracelet.

We're not fans of over-accessorizing like this but, as a whole, the casual-chic look works great.

More Photos and Videos

At 18 years of age, Justin Bieber is facing up to a major pop culture realization: make it work as a “real” artist or become a teen sensation permanently arrested in people’s minds as that dude who had a hit with “Baby” back in the day.

Because for every Mark Wahlberg or Justin Timberlake there’s a Shaun Cassidy or Backstreet Boy to balance the scales.

And allegations that he hit a photographer over the weekend got us thinking: What's the YouTube sensation turned seller of 15 million albums and Forbes' third most powerful celebrity have to do to get this transition right?

Step #1: Start with the music.

So far, so good. Bieber seems to be taking cues from two other former child sensations that went on to become respected child-to-adult stars â€" Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson.

The first single from “Believe” (out June 19) was “Boyfriend,” a sexy, grown-up song reminiscent of what Timberlake delivered post ’N Sync on his first solo album “Justified.”

“If I was your boyfriend, I’d never let you go/ I can take you places you ain’t never been before/ Baby take a chance or you’ll never ever know/ I got money in my hands that I’d really like to blow,” sings and raps Bieber on “Boyfriend” over a club-ready beat.

Even Billboard could look past lyrics such as, “Chillin’ by the fire why we eatin’ fondue,” in the magazine's positive review of the song: “Despite the handful of lame couplets aside, "Boyfriend" is at least sonically polished enough to belong on a radio playlist with the Usher and Justin Timberlake songs that brought Bieber YouTube fame just three short years ago,” wrote Billboard’s Andrew Hampp.

Step #2: Hang out with some grown-ups -- but don't forget the kids.

The notion of Bieber boxing with Mike Tyson may seem far-fetched, but over Memorial Day weekend the former heavyweight world champ tweeted a pic of himself and Bieber in the gym pre-training. The diminutive singer was also spotted alongside Floyd Mayweather at his victory in Las Vegas earlier in May, going so far as to hold the boxer's prize belts aloft as the ring announcer introduced the super welterweight champ pre-fight.

Tough company for a teenybopper. Only time will tell if the friendships linger but Bieber will be hitting notes rather than punching bags as he heads into his "Believe" concert tour during the summer.

Considering “Believe” features duets with Drake, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean and Ludacris, Bieber could do worse than take a leaf from Taylor Swift’s live playbook. Swift â€" herself currently trying to transition from ‘tween goddess to serious songstress â€" saw her credibility rise when John Mayer, Katy Perry, James Taylor, Nicki Minaj, Jason Mraz and Faith Hill all made guest appearances during her 2011 “Speak Now” tour.

(Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez also performed alongside the blonde country-pop sensation during that tour.)

At the same time, Bieber recently tweeted that his protégé (yes, an 18-year-old can have a protégé!) “Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepson will be joining him on his tour, which kicks off in Arizona Sept. 29. He added, “my other special guest is ….. you will have to wait and see :)”

Step #3: Act!

Ah, the potential salvation of every aging model; exhausted stand-up comedian; and many a teen singing sensation: the silver screen.

Bieber is all over that.

“Mark Wahlberg and I are working on a script right now,” Bieber said during a March radio interview for “On Air With Ryan Seacrest.” “It’s not fully done yet, but we are doing a movie together.”

Picking Wahlberg as a movie co-star makes sense. Wahlberg famously transitioned from his rapper alter ego Marky Mark into the respected actor he is today. Lest audiences forget, Wahlberg was ranked No. 1 on VH1’s 40 Hottest Hotties of the '90s and his band was named the Funky Bunch.

It was his roles in 1997’s “Boogie Nights,” “Three Kings” in 1999 and 2000’s “The Perfect Storm” that helped push Marky Mark and those revealing Calvin Klein underwear ads he posed for to the background.

Wahlberg told MTV News that choosing Bieber to act alongside in the as yet untitled basketball-based drama was a no brainer. "I see the guy and spent time with him and you see what he does and how he does it," said Wahlberg of Bieber, "and then you actually have a conversation with him and it's there."

Step #4: Show some depth.

No matter how powerfully those artistic punches hit, it’s the follow-through hook -- the one that portrays him as a human being -- that audiences really want to see. Love, loss and humility, hallmarks of any evolving person, are the traits Bieber has yet to reveal.

On the personal front, Bieber's relationship with Selena Gomez could be a plus or a minus in his quest to be branded a man.

On one hand, the couple seems steady and almost mature in their 2-year-old relationship.  The Disney starlet straddles acting (“Wizards of Waverly Place” and the upcoming film “Spring Breakers” alongside James Franco) and music (Selena Gomez and The Scene have released three Gold-certified albums) and has yet to be the focus of tabloid scandal.

On the other hand, the pair seems a little too good to be true and saccharine-sweet, while his career may benefit from just a little sour. Keep in mind Timberlake, who famously dated fellow Mouseketeer Britney Spears for three years before the former ‘N Syncer abruptly broke off the relationship amid infidelity rumors in March 2002 â€" a mere eight months prior to the release of “Justified” and his u-turn in the public consciousness from boy-bander to adult artist.

It can be argued that the split helped portray Timberlake in a new light, that of the man who had won and lost in love at the same time he was staking his reputation on his first solo album. (It could also be argued that given Spears' well-documented breakdowns post-Timberlake, he just made a sensible move.)

Either way, Bieber needs to get past the school-boy flirting, such as brandishing a snake he called "Johnson" at a clearly weirded-out Gomez on the red carpet of September's Video Music Awards.

Step 5: Prove you are through with the kid stuff.

Ok, here's where it gets super tricky. How can you prove you are now a man, without also coming across like a jerk?

Beliebers â€"  fans of the Bieb â€" were stunned at the news that the normally controlled pop star allegedly lashed out at a photographer as he and Gomez were leaving a shopping center in Calabasas, Calif., over the weekend. As authorities investigate the incident as a possible misdemeanor battery against the paparazzo and seek witnesses, Bieber flew to Norway to begin a series of European concert dates.

Skeptics may see the incident as perfectly timed to coincide with Bieber's very public friendship with boxer Tyson, and the release of his latest single “Die In Your Arms,” which dropped Tuesday morning. Beliebers see it as a non-choreographed moment that’s proof of a tougher, more grown up Bieber who is willing to take control of any situation.

After all, this is the guy who told Access Hollywood Live recently that when it comes to his future: “I want to shock people..Everything I do I want people to be shocked.”

Shocking? Probably not. But intriguing and a hint of some of the entertainment perhaps to come as Justin Bieber navigates adulthood in a very public eye.

Police Want To Speak to Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez In Battery Investigation - MTV.com

Police investigating the criminal battery
complaint against Justin Bieber have spoken to the alleged victim in the case and are now looking to talk to other witnesses to Sunday's altercation, including Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed to MTV News that police had interviewed the unnamed victim, a paparazzi photographer who claims that Bieber struck him after he tried to take pictures of the "Boyfriend" singer and Gomez at the Commons at Calabasas Shopping Center on Sunday afternoon.

In addition to the celebrity couple, investigators are looking for any other witnesses to the incident to help piece together a narrative of what went down during the scuffle. There has been no detailed information to date on what injuries were allegedly suffered by the photographer, who complained of pain and was transported to by the Los Angeles County Fire Department to a local hospital, where he treated and released.

According to The Los Angeles Times, legal experts examining the potential case against Bieber, 18, say that the key issue is whether the pop star acted in self-defense. "These guys will often make it impossible for the celebrity to pass," said former deputy district attorney Dmitry Gorin of the obstacles paparazzi photographers often set for stars that sometimes end in physical contact. "Bieber could face a charge if he pushed or hit the photographer and it was not in self-defense," Gorin said. "But it is not really a jail-time offense." He said the case would likely be a misdemeanor battery unwitnessed by police and the alleged victim could make a citizens arrest, at which point prosecutors would decide whether to file charges. The maximum sanction if convicted is six months in jail, but due to chronic overcrowding, his first-time offender status and the lack of police witnesses, it's highly unlikely Bieber would serve anywhere close to that term.

As of press time, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office had not officially taken up the case. A spokesperson for Bieber, who is out of the country promoting his upcoming Believe album, had no comment on the matter.

On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the D.A.'s office said that no case has been presented to that office yet, but that it's possible once interviews are conducted that it will be referred for possible prosecution. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Lieutenant Margarito Robles told MTV News on Tuesday that the investigation is ongoing and that there was no update on its progress at press time. He also noted that a large percentage of these kinds of cases do get presented to the D.A.'s office, where it is left up to prosecutors to decide how, or if, to proceed.

Selena Gomez Has Real 'Spring Breakers' Date With Police - TheImproper.com

Former Disney star Selena Gomez said her new movie “Spring Breakers” was a challenging role because it forced her to do things that she would never do in real life, like smoke, drink and get arrested by police.

Well, scratch one thing off the list. While Gomez isn’t about to be arrested, she is wanted for questioning by police in their investigation of Justin Bieber.

The teen sensation got into a scuffle with a photographer on Monday (May 28) after the lensman reportedly refused to move out of the way so Bieber could pull out of a parking lot in his car. He had just watched a movie with Gomez at a local mall in Calabalas, Calif.

But the paparazzi didn’t take the pushing and shoving lightly, at least not after talking with a lawyer who happened to be on the scene. He called police and complained of pains in his chest.

The photographer filed assault charges against the singer, and the police have now referred the case to a prosecutor for further investigation. TheImproper reported Tuesday (May 29) that Selena would likely be high on the list of police witnesses to interview.

Bieber left for Norway before police had a chance to talk with him. If he is convicted of assault he could face up to six months in prison, although jail time is highly unlikely.

But he could be sentenced to community service and end up picking up trash by the side of the road like R&B singer Chris Brown, who pleaded guilty to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

In “Spring Breakers,” Selena stars with Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson. They turn to robbery to finance their spring vacation. The girls party hard and get arrested.

“Lol I’m so lame. Having way too much fun getting arrested,” she tweeted at the time.

Now she’ll get the third degree from police for real. Thanks for nothing Justin.

Selena Gomez Goes Braless In Shocking New Pic - Hollywood Life

Selena Gomez reveals a brand-new braless look! Is this a little too sexy for Selena?

Selena Gomez, who along with beau Justin Bieber returned to the scene of their paparazzi scuffle during a dinner date on May 28, showcased her fearlessness by sharing a personal photo on Twitter â€" and boy, was it personal!

While Selena, 19, was simply pushing to support an organization with UNICEF, as displayed on the t-shirt, she may have thrown it on way too quickly and forgot to snap on a bra underneath!

Selena has a good heart and we commend her for promoting a good cause. The Sahel region of Africa is suffering a food and nutrition crisis, particularly affecting children. It’s sweet of Selena to support UNICEF, but perhaps she should think about, er, supporting other things while she’s at it!

What do YOU think of Selena’s braless look?

Selena Gomez to be questioned by police over alleged Justin Bieber paparazzi ... - Sugarscape

Lucky old Selena apparently got dinner and a show

Earlier this week we heard that the king of fondue, sometimes also known as Justin Bieber, was apparently wanted by police for his alleged involvement in a brawl with a photographer.

The details around the incident all seem rather shady but it's now being reported that police are also interested in talking to Justin's girlfriend, Selena Gomez, who was apparently also present when things kicked off.

The disagreement itself apparently took place after a paparazzi blocked in the Biebernator's car in order to take some snaps of him and Selena as they left the cinema. Supposedly there was such a scuffle that the Biebs ended up losing his hat and one of his shoes. Unfortunately there is no photographic evidence of the Biebs hopping away from the scene at this time.

We can't say that this is our idea of the perfect date and to top it all off, the police apparently now want a word or two with Selena, to find out what she knows about the whole kerfuffle.

"The case hasn't been referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office because the investigation is only just beginning," Sergeant Michael Holland, the lead detective on the case told RadarOnline.

"The only statement that has been given is from the alleged victim and other eyewitnesses, including Mr. Bieber's girlfriend, Selena Gomez, need to be interviewed."

"At some point very soon, I anticipate that detectives will formally reach out to Justin Bieber for a request for an interview, although he isn't under any obligation to do so and neither is his girlfriend," he added.

So what do you think of all that then? We can't imagine what will happen next, but we're definitely hoping that El Biebo ends up writing a song about the whole shebang.
